Do you have those little habits that when you do, you sure have to deal with your stern conscience later but still you love doing it? That's called guilty pleasure and we all have it. C'mon don't even try to deny. I've got a handful of this and I'm BADLY willing to give up some like eating chips and fatty food, watching too much youtube videos and waking up too late. But there are also stuffs that are too satisfying for me to be ready to part with.
1. Eating a box of chocolates in one sitting.
Okay I know I'm gonna gain a few pounds for this but still. Can't get enough of it until I emptied the box. My life is complete with chocolate. Chocolate is happiness. Why should I deny myself something that'll make me happy? Nuff said.![]() |

2. Extensive amount of reading time.
It might look like I'm procrastinating but actually I'm looking for inspiration and reading is the best way to do it. Yea sometimes I am putting off something so I could read but I really need my quiet time to be productive. Books rule my life and not even the busiest day's gonna change it. #ForeverBookworm

3. Skin Care
My conscience sometimes nag about being vain and all. But let's be realistic, skin care is no longer considered vanity nowadays. It's hygiene, okay? If you love yourself and you want to improve your confidence: you gotta take care of your skin. To be honest, I don't even know why my conscience is fussing about this. I mean, it's not like I'm lavishing on unreasonably expensive products.

4. Believing in fantasy
I think nobody's too old to believe in a magical place with unicorns and fairies fluttering about. I drop in on my fantasyland whenever reality is getting too much and for some reason, it gives me a better control over tough "real world" situations.
So there goes my guilty pleasures. What are yours? Don't feel too bad about it. You deserve those little treats.

ReplyDeleteI love sappy movies too! Yes, I'm really planning skin care posts so yay! Thank you Kendra, I really appreciate your support.
DeleteThat colorized bookshelf looks so nice! My guilty pleasure would have to be makeup and handbag shopping .///. I can't help it, everytime I go to the mall I seem to fall in love with something new! And it gets harder and harder to talk myself out of it XD I like your blog colors, they're so bright and pretty!

OMG, I totally get you girl! That's why I try not to go to malls when I don't have hard-earned extra moolah to spend. I love your blog specially your series of "what's in my bag". (I'm a bit nosy, hehe) XD
